  • Morris County will host its annual Project Homeless Connect at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church (70 Maple Ave.) in Morristown on Wednesday, Jan. 28. The free event starts with a 9 a.m. opening ceremony and runs until 2 p.m., offering health screenings, food, housing resources and more.  WRNJ Radio

  • Teen entrepreneurs from Morris County schools won seed grants at 2025 PitchNJ, hosted at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where the first-place winners from Morris County School of Technology introduced a Teddy Bear Clinic to ease children’s medical fears & other teams proposed ideas to improve moving services and wellness monitoring.  WRNJ Radio

  • At Sundance Film Festival, local filmmaker Raman Nimmala’s 13-minute short O'Sey Balamma will be shown alongside films by Montclair native Kate Renshaw-Lewis and Woodbridge resident Hossein Keshavarz.   • The New Jersey Lottery announced Millionaire for Life, a multi-state game replacing Cash 4 Life and Lucky for Life that launches Feb. 22. The $5 game offers nine ways to win with a top prize of $1 million a year for life plus a cash option of $18 million.  Daily Record

  • State DOT officials treat roads by applying an environmentally friendly brine & other supplies one or two days before a snowstorm, helping keep roads clear and urging drivers to pack safety kits in their cars.  Daily Record
  • Morris County Prosecutor's Office honored Detective Supervisor Stephen Carro and Program Coordinator Carrie Totten for decades of service - Carro’s walkout ceremony was held on Dec. 29, 2025 and Totten’s on Dec. 23, 2025, with officials praising their commitment.  WRNJ Radio
  • A new law signed Tuesday eases CPA licensing standards by letting candidates with bachelor's degrees + two years of work experience take the exam and allowing out-of-state CPAs to work with a valid license and one year of experience to help fill local accounting jobs.  WRNJ Radio
