- ➤ County College of Morris will host a free lecture on New Jersey’s Revolutionary-era history next week on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 12:30 p.m. in Room 121 on its Randolph campus — award-winning historian Dr. Maxine Lurie will present her talk and light refreshments will be offered with advance registration required. - ➤ The Morris County Park Commission is asking residents to provide input for the Boonton Reservoir Trail Project (as part of a New Jersey Green Acres Park Development Grant) to shape plans for new trails at the reservoir. WRNJ Radio

- ➤ North Jersey marked its priciest home sales in January with a $6.4 million mansion sold on Jan. 13 in Short Hills and a Hamptons-style home built by a former Jets player sold on Jan. 20 in Montville Township, showcasing both off-market and traditional deals. Daily Record

- ➤ Nawel Ibazatene Lefebvre scored 1,000 career points during a Morris County Tournament game on Feb. 3. The Morristown sophomore, born in Paris, now aims to try out for the French U-16 national team this summer. Daily Record
- ➤ The Brazilian national team will train at Red Bull New York’s RWJ Barnabas Health Performance Center in Morris Township as they prepare for their World Cup opener on June 13 and lodge at The Ridge hotel in Basking Ridge. The facility was built for $100 million (by a firm). Daily Record
