➤ A bald eagle is receiving treatment at The Raptor Trust in Long Hill after officers rescued it from breaking ice on the Hudson River on Feb. 17 near the George Washington Bridge. Officials say the bird was in very serious condition and is now getting supportive care. Daily Record

➤ Officials announced that $205 million in federal funds for the Gateway rail tunnel project has been fully released—letters have been sent to contractors and construction will resume next week. The move is expected to ease delays for NJ Transit and Amtrak commuters. Daily Record
➤ Morris County has launched its 11th annual application cycle for the 2026 Trail Construction Grant Program to fund over $1 million in local trail projects. A virtual workshop runs Tuesday, Mar. 24 from 10 to 11 a.m., and grant awards are expected before year-end. WRNJ Radio
