- ➤ Gov. Sherrill declared a state of emergency at noon today as 12 to 20 inches of snow and 50 mph winds are forecast for NJ. She urged residents to avoid road travel Sunday and Monday + so that crews can keep streets clear. Daily Record
- ➤ FirstEnergy warns drivers to treat every downed or low-hanging power line as live because winter weather and traffic incidents may create hazards; motorists should call 911 and remain (30 feet) away from such lines. The advisory comes as heavy snow, strong winds and icy conditions increase risks on local roads. WRNJ Radio
