  • The Army notified 83 Picatinny Arsenal civilian employees on April 2 of a planned workforce rebalancing that may see cuts and transfers, with 24 temporary workers (among those affected) as the base adjusts staffing to support evolving priorities.  Daily Record
  • Data from the U.S. Census Bureau showed Essex County led North Jersey with a 4.24% increase in residents between 2020 and 2025 while nearby areas like Cape May declined by 1.72% — growth slowed amid lower international migration.  Daily Record
