  • County College of Morris is accepting registrations for Fall 2026 with over 100 career programs including a new accelerated online degree for working adults (CCM Accelerate lets students earn an Associate of Science in Business in 18 months).   • Senators Bucco and Tiver introduced a bill to boost school funding for districts in the Highlands and Pinelands. The proposal would give extra aid to districts where development limits revenue (to support students) and ease financial burdens (for families).  WRNJ Radio

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • A federal appeals court ruled on Monday that companies like Kalshi may accept sports wagers as the CFTC holds exclusive control, overturning claims by NJ regulators to oversee prediction markets. NJ Attorney General Jennifer Davenport said she may consider next steps to enforce state gaming rules & safety standards.  Daily Record

HEALTH NEWS

  • Atlantic Health was named to Fortune and Great Place to Work’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list for the 17th year and ranked No. 75, highlighting its strong employee culture and focus on well-being.   • Larry Grogin is running 100 marathons in 100 days from Franklin Lakes + California to raise awareness for Parkinson’s and promote exercise as medicine. The 71-year-old began his journey on March 24 and has raised about $150,000 for Strides for Humanity through the Davis Phinney Foundation.  Daily Record
  • Heath Village in Washington Township will host a free seminar on Tuesday, April 14 at 11 a.m. to help residents plan future healthcare decisions by documenting wishes, completing a living will, and appointing a power of attorney.
