Two Madison Borough residents were arrested on May 5 at 7:20 a.m. and on May 6 at 4:30 p.m. and face charges including selling false government IDs, distributing controlled substances, and related offenses — their cases are pending court appearances in Morris County Superior Court following a year-long investigation by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.

Senator Bucco (R-25) said work on I-80 in Wharton Borough continues after a sinkhole caused major damage, with teams set to reopen two eastbound lanes by mid-May and two westbound lanes by end of May while all lanes will open by June 25.
