Morristown-based Sanofi said it will invest $20 billion in its U.S. operations by 2030 and employs about 1,900 people at the M Station redevelopment near the NJ Transit rail station.

The company plans to boost American manufacturing and research with domestic partners — joining similar planned upgrades by Roche, Novartis and Johnson & Johnson.

The NJEDA updated its Route 80 Business Assistance Grant Program to help small businesses affected by sinkhole repairs and lane closures along I-80— the program raised its funding from $5 million to $5.5 million and now covers businesses with a physical location within 5 miles— and applications will open May 29 at 10:00 a.m. and close June 4 at 5:00 p.m. EST.

At a recent public meeting, the Morris County Board of County Commissioners declared May as Mental Health Awareness Month and honored mental health advocates and service providers—Commissioner Director Tayfun Selen presented the proclamation, which was accepted by Amy Archer and advisory board members. The county supports programs like the 988 lifeline, mobile crisis response teams and mental health diversion efforts to improve care for residents.
