- ➤ A Chicago woman age 25 was arrested after a traffic stop in Denville Township on Route 80 West on May 28 at 12:40 a.m.—she faces charges for unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of hollow point ammunition, careless driving, and having an open container of marijuana pending a court appearance. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Today the American Red Cross New Jersey Region urged Morristown residents to follow safety tips for swimming, grilling, camping & pet care as summer begins. The group advises families to learn water safety, grill outdoors using long-handled tools, prepare for camping with first aid kits, and never leave pets in parked cars to help prevent harm. - ➤ The FDA announced a voluntary recall for 17 prepared food products made with cucumbers that may be contaminated with salmonella. The affected items — sold in New Jersey and several other states between May 6 and May 21 — should be disposed of immediately. WRNJ Radio
