- ➤ On Saturday, Denville police arrested 32-year-old Paul Rankin Jr. after finding him unconscious behind the wheel near Route 46 and Franklin Road — officers discovered drugs and paraphernalia inside the vehicle — and charged him with multiple drug and driving offenses. WRNJ Radio

- ➤ CCM visual arts students are displaying vibrant pastel landscapes at Assemblywoman Aura Dunn's office in Morristown. The free exhibit, The Landscape in Pastel, is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and runs through November. WRNJ Radio
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Union members at NJ Transit approved a new contract that raised wages and ended a three-day strike in May—398 voted in favor and 21 opposed—and the agreement will be sent to the board for final approval at its July 17 meeting. Daily Record
- ➤ Assemblywoman Aura Dunn from Morris called for firing Assistant Attorney General Susan Scott after reports showed thousands of voters may have been blocked from appealing party affiliation decisions tied to Real ID applications during early voting and the June 10 primary. Election officials said some impacted voters received provisional ballots but were not told of their right to seek a judicial review & critics say the process has undermined voter confidence. - ➤ A WalletHub study released Tuesday ranked New Jersey as the 5th best state for working dads after comparing work day length and child-care costs across 22 factors. The report showed 94.3% of married dads worked last year+ a rate higher than that for married moms. WRNJ Radio
