Marshal Cohen of Circana said using chemicals costs about $48 while local community pools charge around $10 per day for adults—and club memberships range from $18,000 to $24,000. News 12 New Jersey

- ➤ The New Jersey Supreme Court ruled that the grand jury investigation into clergy abuse can move forward +records show the Diocese of Camden tried to block the probe with a lawsuit+ after the inquiry began in 2018 following allegations against Cardinal Theodore McCarrick and other clergy. - ➤ Westbound I-80 traffic resumed Saturday morning after months of closure, but eastbound lanes remain partially closed at night for repair work—crews will fully reopen them by June 25 weather permitting. Daily Record
- ➤ Attorney General Matthew Platkin announced on Monday that 55 attorneys general signed a $7.4B settlement with Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family to end their role in the opioid crisis. New Jersey and its local governments will receive up to $125M over the next 15 years to help with addiction treatment and prevention (with most funds scheduled for release in the first three years). - ➤ The U.S. Supreme Court will hear an appeal from First Choice Women’s Resource Centers, a crisis pregnancy center in Morristown that seeks to use federal courts to block a state investigation into its donor records and practices. Lawyers say the First Amendment protects donor identities while state Attorney General Matthew Platkin noted that ongoing negotiations mean the appeal is premature. Daily Record
