- ➤ The New Jersey Senate passed a bill sponsored by Senators Shirley K- Turner and Angela McKnight to form a 20-member Chronic Absenteeism Task Force that will study why students miss school and suggest ways to boost attendance, passing 39-0. Members will be chosen by the Governor and the Education Commissioner and will present their report within one year. WRNJ Radio
