- ➤ A 39-year-old man from Yonkers was charged with resisting arrest after a traffic stop near Church Street in Mount Olive Township on July 15 at 3:39 p.m. when he resisted an officer's effort to take him into custody for having a suspended license and an outstanding arrest warrant in Elizabeth, and he was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Select schools in Hunterdon, Warren and Morris counties were awarded state grants as part of the Trees for Schools program to plant over 4,500 trees on campuses in spring 2026—40 institutions will receive grants ranging from $10,000 to $250,000.
