🚨 Crime

Assemblywoman Dunn met with NJDOT Commissioner O’Connor to discuss roadway safety and long-term planning after emergency repairs fixed Route 80 in Wharton following sinkholes that disrupted traffic and local business—she called for more investment in geotechnical studies to prevent future problems.
Assemblyman DiMaio said Tuesday’s announcement from PJM Interconnection raised wholesale electricity capacity prices to $329.17 a megawatt-day, a 22% increase over last year, and that even a small rate increase is too hard on working families.
He urged New Jersey to build more local energy sources—like natural gas and nuclear power—to lower bills.
