- ➤ The Morris County Mosquito Commission said it will treat woods and parks in Wharton, Mount Arlington, Rockaway and Morristown from 4 to 7 a.m. on August 2 using an All-Terrain Vehicle—weather permitting. WRNJ Radio
- ➤ New Jersey law says drivers must leave the left lane after passing to keep traffic flowing safely—offenders may get fines or points on their license. The rule is designed to keep highways clear for emergency vehicles and reduce road congestion. Daily Record
- ➤ Eligible New Jersey seniors have begun receiving tax relief as Senior Freeze payments started on July 15, with ANCHOR benefits to be mailed on Sept 15 and StayNJ payments set to begin quarterly on Feb 15.
