- ➤ The Morristown Festival of Books will hold its 12th annual event in October with a keynote by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Rick Atkinson—tickets cost $68 and include a signed copy of his book. The festival will feature free Saturday events at venues such as the Vail Mansion with over 100 authors confirmed, including returning CNN journalist Jake Tapper and special KidsFest activities for young readers. - ➤ On Aug. 5, 2025, the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development added nine businesses—including two from Morris County—to its Workplace Accountability in Labor List for owing $287,067.96 in unpaid contributions, penalties, and interest.
