  • Morris County held its 24th International Overdose Awareness Day ceremony yesterday on the lawn of the Central Avenue Complex to remember lives lost and review efforts such as a $820,000 investment in prevention, Narcan training and recovery services. State Sen. Bucco and Sheriff Gannon stressed that initiatives like nearly 12,000 Narcan kits distributed via Hope One—part of the ongoing opioid response—continue to save lives.  WRNJ Radio
  • New product recalls were announced on dressers, carbon wheels, lock carabiners, pressure washers, attic fan motors and battery chargers as experts warn each item can cause serious injuries such as falls, burns and battery ingestion hazards — consumers should stop using them and contact the companies for refunds or repair kits.  WRNJ Radio
