  • More than 25 of New Jersey’s best chefs will cook multi-course dinners tableside at the Table to Table Chefs Gala on Oct. 9 at Edgewood Country Club in River Vale — a fundraiser for North Jersey’s largest food rescue nonprofit.   • Chef Giovani from Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace showed News 12’s Lily Stolzberg how to make Italian Dry Rubbed Wings on September 3 at 4:26 p.m.—he explained each step from marinating the wings to frying and tossing them with cheese and spices.  News 12 New Jersey
  • Jeff Harmon of Boonton, a 51-year-old wheelchair user, will climb Kilimanjaro from Sept. 8 to 13 with help from his local F3 friends—using ropes and a tethered harness—to overcome the mountain’s challenges and inspire others with disabilities.   • Condursos Garden Center, a family-run business since 1929, is set to be auctioned on Sept. 17 at 1 p.m.—the 28-acre property on River Road includes commercial greenhouses and other buildings and remains open despite the Chapter 11 process, leaving its future unclear.  Daily Record

  • Preview capsules for high school girls cross country in Morris and Sussex counties have been published as teams prepare for the season starting Sept. 6 — local schools detail returning runners and new athletes to build competitive squads.  Daily Record
  • Today, the NFL season starts and fans in Morristown can watch games at sports bars across North Jersey such as Horseshoe Tavern (a local favorite) offering special menus and drink deals.
