- ➤ The Morris County Board of County Commissioners approved a Local Safety Action Plan—known as LSAP—to improve road safety and open billions of dollars in federal grants for all 39 municipalities. - ➤ Morris County Assistant Prosecutor Julian Lockett Hill Jr. was named the Recovery Court Hero on Sept. 24 in Newark for his dedication to the program—he has helped non-violent drug defendants access treatment instead of incarceration. WRNJ Radio
- ➤ On Sept. 24, Morris County police chiefs accused Dover Mayor Dodd and Business Administrator Ramirez of weaponizing internal affairs to target Police Chief Delaney. Mayor Dodd fired back on Sept. 26 by defending a town report that flagged unsustainable officer salaries — saying Dover needs fiscal accountability. WRNJ Radio
- ➤ Gov. Murphy joined with 12 other governors to form the PJM Governors’ Collaborative aimed at increasing state input in grid decisions so that families pay lower bills & keep the lights on.
