- ➤ The Community Foodbank of New Jersey is moving into disaster mode as it prepares for a surge in pantry visits if SNAP benefits expire on Nov. 1—phone calls and donations have increased amid worries of food shortages. - ➤ Morristown Medical Center was named the No. 1 hospital in New Jersey on Newsweek’s 2026 Best-in-State Hospitals list—ranking it ahead of over 6,000 hospitals based on quality, reputation, patient experience and outcome measures. - ➤ Mountain Lakes resident Natalie Grabow, 80, became the oldest woman to finish the Ironman World Championships in Kona on Oct. 11 by completing the race in 16 hours, 45 minutes and 26 seconds.
